Brief
Part of the RBS Group, Lombard provides asset finance for businesses, ranging from commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment and airplanes to manufacturing machinery and healthcare equipment. The Car & Van Finance is the most visited part of the Lombard Asset Finance website. To simplify the application process, Lombard opted to provide an online quotation tool for their Hire Purchase division, allowing small business to get an instant quote for individual vehicles.
Process
Working in close partnership with the product owner, I met with members of the frontline customer service team to assess the optimal user journey for the quotation tool and develop a series of wireframes, which were later played back to the team to ensure that every aspect of the information gathering stage were covered.
I then created visual designs based on the wireframes for both desktop and mobile, and liaised with the development team, providing them with guidance and support on how to style the front-end elements to ensure quality of delivery.
